Prototype Background

Built by Siemens as part of VIA Rail’s corridor fleet renewal, Venture cars now form the backbone of modern passenger service across the Quebec–Windsor Corridor. Featuring cab control capability, upgraded Business Class accommodations, and modern Coach interiors, these cars are designed for efficient push-pull operation and have quickly become a defining symbol of VIA’s future.
