The roots of the Old Engine House began in 2020, when David and his son Sam dove into building a home O Gauge layout—one that eventually took over an entire garage bay. Their growing passion, paired with David’s packaging-industry experience, led to a new idea: build a store dedicated entirely to O Gauge model trains. 

 Sam now lives in the USA and the business they started continues to grow.

We’re located just 400 metres/yards from Cowbell Brewing, Canada’s most-visited craft brewery—making us an easy stop for both hobbyists and travelers.

Our operating hours are daily from 9:30am – 4:30pm – please call ahead
