Government tariffs of 20% - 25% are being charged to manufacturers on most model train products. As of 1 April all MTH pre-order items will be subject to a 7% tariff surcharge, Lionel pre-order items a 10% surcharge, and some Woodland Scenics a 25% surcharge (for Canadian customers).

Our pricing for pre-order items does not include tariff surcharges as they might change again prior to the product’s arrival. We continue to monitor the situation and, as items come into our inventory, the pricing will be adjusted to reflect the tariff surcharge applied by the manufacturer at that time.
