Built between 1966 and 1976, the U30C was General Electric’s best selling U-boat. This 3000 horsepower locomotive was commonly used to haul heavy freight and for unit train service. For 2008, the scale-sized U30C by Lionel is available in two new road names -Rock Island and Missouri Pacific. These powered units are equipped with the LEGACY Control System, LEGACY RailSounds, andOdyssey II Speed Control.
